about the service:
You will receive therapy from an experienced and trusted Clinical Psychologist who is compassionate, thoughtful and hopeful. Our Clinical Psychologists are experienced in working with neurodivergent adults who experience distress in relation to their mental health and wellbeing.
We help people who identify with having experiences of:
Anxiety & Depression/low mood
Low self-esteem and assertiveness
Grief and loss
Stress (including work stress)
Traumatic experiences
Relationship difficulties
Understanding self
Living as a neurodivergent person
We are inclusive practitioners and experienced in working with people of all cultural, religious/spiritual, gender and sexual and questioning identities.
Where?
We will work with you virtually, either via video call or over the phone.
How?
We use an approach that best supports your psychological needs and use the best clinical guidelines and research available. This means we will spend time getting to know you and will develop the approach that is appropriate for you. We will likely use a combination of different approaches including; Narrative Therapy, Compassion Focussed Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Systemic Therapy.
We are ethical practitioners and will review your therapeutic needs to ensure what you are receiving is right for you and make adjustments. We will listen to any feedback you have, and use this to adapt your needs.
We are straight talking but compassionate with it! So if we think your psychological needs would be better supported by a different specialist or could be offered for free/cheaper in a local organisation we will tell you.
